Automatic Fax Reception

When configured in the automatic fax reception mode, the Fax Voip Softphone automatically answers the incoming call and receives the fax. To automatically receive incoming faxes, you need to configure Incoming VOIP Call Routing rules to receive fax calls.

Receive a Fax manually

To manually receive a fax, you must first make an outgoing voice call or answer an incoming voice call. Make sure that the required line is active and the voice call is established. Tell your caller that you are ready to receive a fax. To receive a fax, click Receive Fax button.

To automatically switch to fax mode

You can configure Fax Voip Softphone to automatically detect CNG fax tone at the time of established voice call, and then to switch to fax mode and receive a fax.

Monitoring your fax

When receiving a fax, the information about incoming fax progress is displayed in the Info panel in the main window.

In the case of a successful fax reception, the Status: OK message is displayed in the Info panel.

If the fax reception failed, the operation completion code containing the fax reception error is displayed in the Status field.

To view received faxes

Use Log Book to view received faxes. Received faxes can be easily viewed in the Preview Panel. You can navigate between the fax pages using the navigation buttons located at the bottom of the Preview Panel.
